Vertigo by Mike Williams 02/14/2016 @ 7:55 A.M.
You said that you loved me,
In a tepid half-hearted breath.
And like an earworm repeating,
Your lacking feeling stung mine breadth.
I had flown so high before,
As Icarus too near the sun.
Your love is wax and feathers,
And left me completely undone.
For fall I did too harshly,
From a lofty place to woe.
And love left me broken,
In a state of vertigo.
