The Fool by Mike Williams 02/14/2016 @ 3:43 P.M.

The ratiocination of a man,
With logic, wit, and word supreme.
But the flighty fool in his ignorance,
None could reason with it would seem.

To point a finger to his affliction,
And address the fool's fatal flaw.
He will drag you down into the quagmire,
And suffocate you with it all.

The wise man will stay silent and listen,
Correct his own infirmity.
For the fool will be only thus spurned on,
And expose his perversity.

He has an obdurate affinity,
And remains stuck in his thinking.
His biased attitude is self-serving,
For vain he swells and mind shrinking.

Dishonor is there in the fool's nature,
When it comes to answer his call,
He speaks of ideals and integrity,
But bares no resemblance at all.

No matter what you might tell him to do,
A fool always remains the same.
But never argue with one such as he,
Nonpareil he'll best you the game.
