Discovery Through Dream (End Rhyme) by Mike Williams 06/24/2016 @ 7:52 A.M.

I've spent many hours woolgathering,
Under the spell of some distant dream.
Caught up in star dusted moments a while,
Lost in wonder upon a moonbeam.

Through those dizzying delightful daydreams,
A half-life of my own making there.
Bound inside me with a need to escape,
Hiding behind a blank-faced out stare.

Should you catch me wondering on a cloud,
Drifting way up high as I'm gazing.
Let me be for I've mental clarity,
It's through dreams we touch the amazing.

The unconcious mind weaves its silver webs,
And untangles the world we have known.
It's vision through unrevealed emotions,
Which surpass the logic mind alone.

The consious mind sees only outwardly,
But looks through the heart in dreamy flight.
By dreams the journey moves deeply within,
Making sense of emotions without sight.
